How to Take Screenshots in Windows 7
In windows 7 we have a full-screen captures option available to take screenshots. This method also works in Windows 10 and 8 to take screenshots.

1- So to take a screenshot in windows 7 press PrtScn if you are on a desktop.
2- To take a screenshot in windows 7 while using a laptop press Fn+Prnt Scrn.
3- After pressing PrntScrn or Fn+Prnt Scrn your Pc or laptop copies a screenshot for the full page to the system clipboard.
4- You have to paste the image to get a file. To do this paste the image in Microsoft paint or any photo editor by pressing Ctrl+v if you have installed it in your system. And then save this file in jpeg format or any other format of your choice.

To capture an image in windows 7 we have another option available in the default inbuilt app of the system. And that is the Snipping tool.
1- Click on the start menu and search for the snipping tool in the search box and then open it from the list.
2- After that a box is appeared on the screen with multiple options like New, mode, delay, cancel, and options.
- New – In this option when you click on ”New” a plus sign is appears on the screen. Drag it by pressing mouse click and cut the area you want to capture. Then you have the capture area on the screen you can edit it or simply save it in a folder.
- Mode- under this option you have another 3 options to take a screenshot in windows 7. Use any option according to your requirement and then save the file.
- Delay- From here you can set a timer for 1to5 to seconds to capture an image.
- Cancel- this option is used to cancel the capture area.
